The Berlin Community Fitness Center, located in Berlin Middle School, exists to provide residents of the Berlin Area School District a venue to utilize weight training and aerobic exercise equipment during regularly scheduled community hours. A wide variety of equipment is available for our citizens to use, including weight resistance machines, free weights, treadmills, exercise bikes and elliptical training. The fitness center is located on the east side, first floor of the middle school.
The fitness center and first floor hallway of Berlin Middle School will be open for community use for individuals to workout and walk during the following times:
Monday-Friday: 6-9 p.m.
Closed on no school days, weekends, holidays, and during the summer.
Yearly Membership Fees (September 5-May 31)
Fitness Center:
Adult - age 18+: $70.00 per year
Senior Citizen - age 62+: $35.00 per year
Walkers:
All members: $5.00

Fitness Center & Walking Expectations
- The number one concern in the Fitness Center is SAFETY.
- Use a spotter when lifting.
- No horse play.
- Return all weights to their proper storage area after use.
- Use common sense. If you see potential danger, please report it.
- Keep weights and dumbbells off of the wood platforms.
- Do not drop weights on the floor.
- Return treadmills to the flat position, so they are not on an incline.
- Food and beverages are not allowed, only water.
- Sanitize equipment after use.
- Clean up after yourself.
- Walkers stay on the Middle School first floor only.
- Use the fob to enter through Door J (east side of the middle school).
