The Berlin Area School District (BASD) is dedicated to providing multiple opportunities for our students in many areas. We are striving to create an environment of success where our students are prepared for both college and career. Per the 2015-2017 adopted state budget (2015 Act 55), the following notices must be provided to parents and guardians:
Academic Standards: BASD is dedicated to ensuring a rigorous and deep curriculum that students can apply to many different contexts. As a district, we follow the Department of Public Instruction’s (DPI) guidelines in terms of the standards we follow. If you would like more information on the standards that are addressed in each content area, please see the link to the DPI website Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Standards.
School/District Accountability: Per the State, accountability report cards will not be created for 2014-15, but assessment results will be posted in Public WISEDash. Results from the Forward Exam, ACT Suite, and DLM (science and social studies) will all be reported.
