🦃 BASD will have a Fall Feast lunch available to students on Tuesday, November 25th!
🍽️ At BMS and BHS, this special meal will include roasted turkey, cheesy hash brown potatoes, stuffing, corn, cornbread, and pumpkin roll. Also offered will be cheesy broccoli soup, PB&J, or yogurt.
🍗 Clay Lamberton's menu will include roasted turkey, whipped potatoes, corn, a choice of cornbread or roll, and pumpkin roll, along with assorted fruits and vegetables.
💲 Normal lunch fees apply.

🎶 The talented BMS SCC Honor Band students traveled to Wautoma for an unforgettable performance. Dr. Maud Hickey, the middle school guest clinician, led the way with her expertise.
🎷 The event was a blast! Students learned all about preparation, keeping an eye on the conductor, and tuning in to the entire group. With 55 other middle schoolers from nearby districts, BMS truly shined.

⭐ The day will begin with a complimentary breakfast for service members and their families in the BHS commons. Following breakfast, we will gather in the gymnasium to celebrate their patriotism, service, and sacrifice.

🧰 Did you know that BHS offers a DIY Living Class?
This week, students in Mrs. Clark's class got hands-on experience by learning how to cut and remove Romex sheathing, strip insulation from hot and neutral wires, and connect these wires to receptacles and switches.
🔋 Next week, they'll be installing gang boxes and running Romex in their workstations, all leading up to the exciting challenge of wiring a light fixture and a switched receptacle!
These are great life lessons that will be super useful in the future!

👨🍳 In our Food Service class, we're in the Equipment Unit. Students are exploring each piece of kitchen equipment, learning how to use it safely, maintain it, and clean it. Most importantly, they're cooking up some delicious dishes! Today, they tackled the convection oven and made pizza from scratch.
It was super tasty and all students did great!
