Our student body of approximately 480 students has opportunities to learn and grow from a young age. In our primary grades, students explore play-based learning, social-emotional lessons, mathematics built on conceptual understanding, and literacy taught with a focus on the Science of Reading. In our upper grades, students practice handwriting and typing skills, continue to build conceptual mathematical understanding to prepare them for middle school, expand their foundational literacy skills aligned with the Science of Reading, and dig into complex science and social studies theories and lessons. Additionally, all students have access to physical education, music, art, and STEM specialist courses. We believe that the elementary school experience is critical to the development of the overall student and their future success as a learner. Berlin Middle School is a community of 275 students that engages all learners with caring adults and offers a wide variety of opportunities for students to explore their interests and strengths. We focus on the whole child in academics so students are highly supported in the core academic areas, while allowing them to explore various electives from art, music, foreign language, physical education and health, and Project Lead the Way (PLTW). Last night the Music Department of the Berlin High School proudly presented "Finale 2025" featuring Soundwave Show Choir and Encore, as well as numerous solos, duets, and small groups of singers and dancers. It was a lively show that showcased the talents of our amazing high school students. The parents of the student performers even got into the act.

The day has finally arrived to honor the Class of 2025! 🎉 The gates to the stadium will open at 5:00 p.m. for guests and graduates should arrive at the BHS auditorium at 5:15 p.m. to prepare for the Graduation Ceremony. We will begin at 6:00 p.m. sharp. We look forward to an exciting and memorable evening. ❤️

Some of our Clay Lamberton Elementary 4K students walked up to see the tractors this week for Bring Your Tractor to School Day. The students loved seeing the variety of tractors on display in the parking lot at Berlin High School.

The CAPP Public Speaking students in Dr. Femali's English class at Berlin High School enjoyed light snacks and presented their final speeches of the school year. Students were to choose a proverb or aphorism as the basis of their speech and then offer their fellow students inspiring words of advice. The speeches were heartfelt and helped send our senior class members off. Thank you to Thrivent for providing snacks.
