✨ We are deeply honored to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Joe Stellmacher, our Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director, on his recent induction into the Berlin High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
Those who know Joe recognize his unwavering kindness and dedication to his students. His extensive knowledge and passion for athletics inspire everyone he teaches, motivating them to excel not only in academics but also in life.
🏈 A 2002 graduate of Berlin High School, Joe was an accomplished athlete, excelling in basketball, baseball, and track, with a particular passion for football. After high school, he continued his football career with the Wisconsin Badgers. Following his graduation from college, he returned to the Badgers in 2007 as the defensive quality coach. In 2010, he became a physical education teacher at BHS, and in 2011, he stepped into the role of head football coach. He also took on the position of co-head track coach in 2013 and was named BHS Athletic Director in 2020. Joe proudly follows in the footsteps of his father, Steve Stellmacher, who also coached at BHS.
For those interested in learning more, an excellent article featuring Joe was published in the August 14th edition of the Berlin Journal.
