🤝 This week, students in Ms. Rost's Introduction to Business class took a big step toward their future by completing their mock interviews! The focus was on crafting resumes, cover letters, and mastering the interview process. The room was filled with professionalism and confidence.

👩‍💼 Teachers and staff jumped in to support the effort, supplying materials and thoughtful questions to guide the students. This unit is designed to gear them up for the workforce, giving them invaluable practice as they transition into young adults.

💯 Each student was evaluated and scored, and the results were great! Well done, students!

✨ Art 1 students are having a great time in class, showing off their amazing skills!

✍️ Right now, they are working on a project to make beautiful portraits with ebony pencils.

🎨 Next up, painting unit!

🍕 In our Food, Family, and Society class, we are currently working on our Multicultural/Ethnic Unit, where we are making dishes from different cultures. We enjoyed Indian Butter Chicken, Cuban Croquetas, Chinese Beef Dumplings, and Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza.

🇯🇵 Students also shared presentations on foods from cultures they chose, exploring Mongolian, South American, Caribbean, Soul Food, Native American, Japanese, Indian, Southeast Asian, Spanish, and vegetarian cuisines. 🇪🇸

🌎 These presentations highlighted cultural influences, showcased traditional dishes, discussed nutrition, and included recipes, celebrating the wonderful diversity of global cuisine!

🎉 Berlin High School is proud to have received the First Team "Safe Sports School" award from the National Athletic Trainers' Association for the fourth consecutive year!

🩺 This honor was earned by creating a strong athletic health care system. This includes providing physical exams before participation, ensuring safe practice areas, and keeping athletic equipment in good condition. The school also has a specific place for checking and treating injuries, works on ways to prevent injuries, helps with injury care, and develops emergency plans for each venue. Additionally, athletes and parents are educated about the benefits and risks of sports.

❤️ We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Melissa (MJ) Johnston, LAT, FMT, ITAT, our Athletic Trainer from ThedaCare Medical Center, who dedicates countless hours to ensuring our student athletes' safety. We are also very grateful for the funding for this award, generously provided by ThedaCare Orthopedics.
