🖤✨ It's Winterfest week!

This week, we celebrate School Counseling Week and the incredible counselors who support our students every single day. 🫶
Our counselors pour their hearts into this work — spending countless hours listening, encouraging, problem-solving, and advocating for what’s best for our students. Whether it’s academic planning, social-emotional support, or simply being a trusted adult when it matters most, they are always there.
We are so grateful for the time, care, and dedication they give to helping our students grow, succeed, and feel supported. Thank you for everything you do — we are truly lucky to have you! 🌟

🍞 Food Service students have been busy in the kitchen learning all about quick breads!
They’ve practiced the muffin method, biscuit method, and now—this lab featured the creaming method. Hands-on learning never tasted so good! 😋

🧵 Our Sewing 1 students have been busy creating and learning! They recently completed a fabric letter project, where they practiced using interfacing, batting, and pinking shears. But they didn’t stop there!
👖 Students also followed a traditional Simplicity pattern to machine-sew their very own pair of pajama pants—reading and following the pattern, sewing a waistband, inserting elastic, and finishing hems like pros! 👏
Sewing is definitely not a lost art in this class! We’re so proud of the patience, focus, and skills our students are developing. Keep up the fantastic work, Sewing 1! 🪡

🔧❄️ Hands-on learning in action!
Engines 1 students rolled up their sleeves today, working on real projects—including a Jiffy ice auger and an Arctic Cat snowmobile.
In this class, students learn how engines work by actually fixing them—building skills in maintenance, repair, and problem-solving that prepare them for future careers in automotive and power equipment fields.
Nothing beats learning by doing! 💪⚙️
