👩🍳 Earlier this week, our Food Service students visited Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac to tour the culinary department.
🔥 Students explored the culinary arts facilities and worked alongside first-year culinary students to prep and cook stir fry. They practiced knife skills and gained experience using a commercial wok (that huge cooking pan!). Afterward, they enjoyed the meal they helped prepare.
🍜 They also had the opportunity to sample sourdough bread made by second-year culinary students as part of their final project. It was a great day for learning, collaboration, and some seriously good food!
