⭐ Alexandria Chidley has joined the Middle School team as a 6th grade math teacher!

➕ She is a fourth-year educator who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is excited to return to her roots after completing her high school education at Berlin High School in 2018.

🎣 In Mrs. Chidley's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and fishing with her husband. Her favorite quote is “be like subtraction and make a difference!"

🙌 Jacob Jumbeck is thrilled to join Berlin Middle School as a full-time teacher after substituting in the school district for the past two years!

He recently earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree from Ripon College, where he also competed in cross country and track and field. Mr. Jumbeck is eager to build positive relationships with students and to share his passions for athletics, exercise, and well-being as a teacher and coach this year! 💪🏼

Our student body of approximately 480 students has opportunities to learn and grow from a young age. In our primary grades, students explore play-based learning, social-emotional lessons, mathematics built on conceptual understanding, and literacy taught with a focus on the Science of Reading. In our upper grades, students practice handwriting and typing skills, continue to build conceptual mathematical understanding to prepare them for middle school, expand their foundational literacy skills aligned with the Science of Reading, and dig into complex science and social studies theories and lessons. Additionally, all students have access to physical education, music, art, and STEM specialist courses.
