We’re excited to introduce Samantha Behnke as the new Berlin Middle School Principal, starting July 1, 2026!
Samantha brings strong leadership experience, most recently serving as a 4K–8 principal in the Ripon Area School District. She has also worked as a middle school instructional coach, literacy teacher, and elementary teacher.
She is passionate about building positive school culture, supporting staff, and helping every student reach their full potential.
Please join us in giving Samantha a warm BMS welcome—we’re excited for what’s ahead! ⭐

Thank you, and stay safe!

🚀🌌 Seventh-grade students have officially launched into their Survive & Thrive unit by designing their very own space colonies! As part of the project, students will research a celestial body—like the Moon, Mars, Titan, Europa, Mercury, or Venus—to learn about its temperature, gravity, atmosphere, and terrain.
Using what they discover, students are designing and building a model home for their colony along with a vehicle that could explore and travel in that environment. From extreme heat to icy surfaces and low gravity, their designs must be able to survive the unique challenges of space!
This hands-on project combines science, engineering, creativity, and problem-solving as students think like real space explorers and colony planners! 🌠🛠️
