The BHS students in Ms. Famali's sophomore English class have been reading the novel Kindred by Octavia Butler. The students worked together to make connections from the text and arranged hexagons in meaningful ways that required them to justify or explain their thinking. The activity led to some in depth discussions and debates.

Congratulations to Jaiyda Johannes, Makayla Trochinski, Sawyer Hess, Caliber Hartzke, and Autumn Hartzke, for having their artwork selected by a panel of educators and consultants for display in the Wisconsin Department of Instruction's digital art gallery.
