A picture truly is worth a thousand words.
On Friday, January 16, our Berlin community came together as the Berlin Boys Basketball team faced Wautoma for a very special night—Hoops for Hope. It was an unforgettable evening filled with compassion, strength, and support for two cherished members of our BHS family.
All proceeds from the night supported freshman basketball player Tannyon Klawitter’s father, Shannon, who is bravely battling blood cancer, and BHS Social Studies teacher Jennifer Leahy, who is courageously fighting breast cancer.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to the many local businesses who generously donated raffle prizes. We are so grateful to live in a community that truly shows up for one another. Your kindness made this night possible. No one fights alone.
And thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and showed their support. Your presence meant more than words can say.
