Clay Lamberton Elementary School welcomed Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers for a special visit with students and staff!
Each year, Governor Evers visits schools across Wisconsin during the first week of the new school year, and Clay Lamberton Elementary was fortunate to be one of his stops this year. During his visit, Governor Evers toured several classrooms, interacted with students, and learned more about the projects and activities they were working on.
Our students did a wonderful job welcoming Governor Evers and were excited to ask him a few questions along the way. They learned some fun facts, including that his favorite pizza topping is mushrooms and that he was once a biology teacher. Governor Evers also left students with a simple but important message: be kind to your classmates.
We are proud of our students for representing Clay Lamberton Elementary and the Berlin Area School District so well and for helping make the visit a memorable experience!
