Audrey Shattuck and the Lady Indians put on an incredible performance on their home turf, clinching victory at the Berlin Invite held at Mascoutin Golf Club yesterday afternoon!
Leading the charge was senior Audrey Shattuck, who finished in spectacular fashion with a winning time of 19:32, outpacing nearly 50 runners! The Berlin girls dominated the competition, securing first place against six rival teams. Not far behind, Alyssa Kujawa sprinted to a commendable third place at 20:47, while Abby Shattuck followed closely in fifth at 20:56. Katera Hartzke wasn't far behind in sixth at 20:57, and Aubrey Kurczek rounded out the top 10 with another impressive seventh-place finish, also clocking in at 20:57.
On the boys' side, Thomas McCarthy of Berlin shattered his own personal record by one second, finishing first with a time of 15:56! Ewan Steffen also made waves for the Indians, crossing the finish line in ninth place at 19:15.
