Dear Berlin Middle School Families,

I am eager to continue my work at BMS as assistant principal and athletic director. I have been in the district for four years serving as a behavioral specialist and assistant principal at Clay Lamberton Elementary first before coming over to BMS. I was fortunate to have had many positive teaching experiences prior to Berlin, including being a special education teacher and youth mental health behavioral specialist. 

As assistant principal, a large part of my role has included supporting students, families, staff, and the community around the social-emotional and behavioral needs of students. I am a huge supporter of proactively processing school and extracurricular concerns while keeping the wellbeing of all students at the forefront of our work. I firmly believe that all students are capable of achieving amazing things whether that is in school or out in the community. It is our job to ensure that we provide them with positive opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.  

Berlin holds a special place in my heart so I am excited to continue leading as the assistant principal/athletic director at BMS where students will be learning and succeeding at a high level both academically and functionally.
