High School Curriculum (9-12 Grades)

The curriculum utilized in Berlin High School is comprehensive, aligned to state standards and helps students achieve at high levels. Throughout the past few years, the teachers have worked hard to align all content to the standards and determine what all students should know and be able to do. The assessments in the courses provide teachers will information on student mastery of those standards and allow them to provide instruction and support to all students on areas of growth.

At the high school there is a focus on student engagement, academic vocabulary, College and Career Readiness, technology integration and providing students with ongoing feedback of their learning to prepare students to succeed in the 21st century.

The Registration Handbook provides information on courses in each academic area as well as programs of study, course progressions and dual credit opportunities. School counselors meet with students each year to discuss their college and career aspirations and help develop a plan of courses and activities that support their success in achieving these goals. The information below can also help students and parents plan for their student's academic career at Berlin High School.
