FACS 7: After a general introduction to FACS, this class focuses on foods and nutrition for a majority of the trimester. This includes: kitchen basics, safety, and nutrition. Towards the end of the trimester, students will also learn the basics of using a sewing machine.
FACS 8: A majority of the trimester focuses on foods and nutrition which includes: Kitchen Basics, Safety & Sanitation, Nutrition, and Cake Decorating. One to two weeks at the end of the trimester are dedicated to Financial Literacy.
