Open Positions

Professional Applicants (Teachers, Pupil Services, Coaches and Administrators) should complete and submit an online application at WECAN. In addition please send the following paper documents to the district at 295 E. Marquette Street Berlin, WI 54923:

  • Letter of interest, resume and copy of college transcripts. (Unofficial copies are acceptable for your application. Upon employment offer, OFFICIAL transcripts are required for all undergraduate and graduate course work. If you are student teaching at the time you apply, send current transcripts. After graduation send copy of complete transcripts and copy of DPI application or assurance of eligibility from school.)
  • Copy of Wisconsin teacher license or proof of ability to be certified. (For information about teaching licenses, contact the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction).
  • Three professional reference letters.
  • The attached Criminal Background Check Authorization Form

NOTE: Only candidates who have completed these requirements will be considered for positions. 

Support Staff Applicants
Complete and submit the application form and the attached Criminal Background Check Authorization Form for support staff and send to the district office 295 E. Marquette Street Berlin, WI 54923.

Selection and Interview Process
The screening process begins with the review of applications by the Building Principals or Supervisors. Submitting an application does not assure the candidate of an interview. The Building Principal or Supervisor will contact the selected applicants for an interview.We work in committee to interview and recommend for hire, all candidates in the District. Upon completion of the interviewing process, which includes reference and criminal background checks, the Building Principal or Supervisor will recommend a candidate for hire. For teachers, employment is official after the School Board acts upon the individual contract. Only those candidates interviewed will be notified that the position has been filled.
