Berlin High School Local Scholarship: This is a reminder that if you are applying for a local scholarship, your scholarship application is due Friday, March 20th by 4:00 p. m.

You may email your application as a Word Document or a PDF to lsobieski@berlin.k12.wi.us or mail it to the High School at 222 Memorial Drive. Must be postmarked no later than March 20th. 

This application works best in Google Chrome and should be downloaded in Microsoft Word.

 

 

Scholarship Search Engines

Fastweb: Fastweb provides access to over 1.5 million scholarships to help pay for college. Students create an account and Fastweb sorts through all scholarship files to match students with relevant applications.

Fox River Scholarship Center: The Fox River Scholarship Center is the most complete online source for scholarships available to students in the Wisconsin counties of Winnebago, Green Lake and Waushara Counties, and the City of Ripon in Fond du Lac County. The site also serves students from other regions of the United States if their parents work for certain employers based in the Oshkosh, Wisconsin area.

Scholarships.com: This search engine helps match scholarships, grants and other financial aid options that fit student interests and plans.

StudentScholarships.org has been providing scholarship information to students and scholarship management services to companies and students since 2003. 

CollegeCovered.com:  Students could win $2,500 to help pay for college!

 

Individual Scholarship Information:

American Legion Scholarships: The American Legion Department of Wisconsin provides several scholarship programs for seniors, including American Legion Baseball Scholarship and Eagle Scout of the Year, among others. Each scholarship has its own deadline; view the website for more information. 

AB Nicholas Scholarship: The Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation seeks to make a college degree affordable for Wisconsin high school students who participate as players or managers in their school’s basketball program. Need-based scholarships, renewable annually, are offered for two- and four-year programs at any University of Wisconsin System school. Deadline is April 30th, 2020.

Kids’ Chance of Wisconsin is an organization providing educational scholarships to the children of Wisconsin workers who have been seriously injured or killed due to work-related accidents.  The application deadline is May 1, 2020.

Waushara County Home and Community Education Association Scholarship:  The Waushara County HCE Association awards two $500 scholarships to deserving Waushara County college students.  Students must be enrolled in a college, university or technical school majoring in the field of family and consumer sciences, agriculture, medicine or education. Deadline May 1, 2020

B.Davis Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution. Deadline: May 22, 2020

The Brandan Kalmerton Memorial Fund awards two graduating seniors attending high school in Oshkosh, Winneconne, Omro, Berlin or Ripon a $1,000 scholarship to study Natural Resources at UW-Stevens Point. Deadline June 1, 2020

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution. Deadline: June 12, 2020

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. In order to do our part we are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. Deadline: June 19, 2020

The Waushara County Farm Bureau Jim and Charlotte Bleskey Memorial Scholarship is offering a scholarship to a resident of Waushara County that is pursuing a degree/career in an agricultural related field. The scholarship is available to anyone pursuing higher education. An applicant can only receive the scholarship once.  Applicants are not required to be Farm Bureau members, but a priority will be given to applicants or their parents that are members. Deadline July 1, 2020

The Waushara County Farm Bureau Gordon Krentz Memorial Scholarship is offering a scholarship to a current Waushara County Farm Bureau member or a son/daughter of a current Waushara County Farm Bureau member with a post-secondary education commitment and a current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (B average).  This “B” average must be maintained through your post-secondary education first semester or the scholarship money will be forfeited.
