Finally—another book for fans of Cory Doctorow’s Little Brother! This futuristic-but-not-so-far-away-book is filled with action, but I felt like some of the technology descriptions went right over my head.

Tell us what you really did not like about this book:

I was disappointed that one of the main characters was injured…and then basically just disappeared altogether from the story.

This is a great read. It is easy to become immersed in the time period of this book and the diary entry-format worked well. Fans of the French Revolution will eat this one up!

Tell us what you really did not like about this book:

It bothered me that Alex mis-uses her medications so much and that her father was so out of the picture. The ending also did not work for me as much as the rest of the book did.

An amazing love story, magical and intriguing. This is a total twist on fairies—it held my attention to the very last word.

****POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING****

I did not like how Laurel is town between two guys and kinda cheats on both. Plus, I think she took the fairy thing and Tamani a little too easy.
